Out Of Character
OOC comments, make sure that everyone can tell it's not part of your post
Don't have a grudge against somebody just because they fought one of your characters
Swearing is allowed, keep it to a minimum though
Please keep it PG-13 rated
This is an beginner - intermediate rpg, but I'm still expecting five nice sentences per post
If you don't have the energy or muse to make a reply then don't reply!
If you are gone for 2 weeks without notice then you will be deleted, no jokes
After reading all the rules go post your character's stats in the joining board, you do not have to wait to be accepted
You may not have any real dead horses in your character's pic
Characters
No more than 7, unless your mare has a foal (in this case no more then 8).
No wings or powers please.Nor can there be pink equines or green eqiunes or any weird colours like that. This is a realistic rp,please remember that ^^.
You're character can be either a light or a dark, darks are evil, mean, cruel etc. and lights are the opposite. I cannot stress this enough lights and darks do not get along
If you don't want to play a character anymore notify me and the people your character rped with
No god-modeling.
Try to have unique names
You may not use a horse's name that is already in use, (or has been in use).
You may not use a land's name that you have not created yourself (whether for another land or for a character.)
Lands
Only TWO lands per account/member (it is unfair to have one member with 4+ lands and some without any).
No more lands will be created just because you want one. If you want one, fight for it
Inactivity in a land for 10 days will result in your losing it. (if you have not posted in the absent board)
I want some interaction between lands. Go say Hi to your neighbor, dammit
Stallions
Can own one land, and have one lead lady.
Have breeding rights to every horse within their land, but cannot breed to the same mare twice in a season
Can breed and own lands at age three
Can claim a territory with or without a lead lady
Choose the heir, one heir only
Can leave your lead lady for another
Can fight mares as well as stallions
Remember, stallions are boss
Fillies can't Rule the land
Once you have up to 3 mares, you MUST choose a Lead.
Mares
Cannot claim a land or rule it. If you are in a land and your lead stallion dies or leaves, you are expelled from the land as well.
Cannot breed with one stallion twice during a season, but may breed with several different stallions during a season.
Can kill or abandon your foal. Read foal rules below.
Can fight stallions as well as other mares.
Mares can remain pregnant for no more then 1 year, but they can give birth immediately after breeding if you want
Foals
The foal's stats will be decided by me, or r.andom (no other staff, unless Time has said and stated.) . At the beginning of your foaling and thread list the dam and sire's stats. Do not request a certain gender, color, or twins.
Officially an adult at three years of age. Then, you may choose to leave your home or stay
The lead stallion will choose whether or not a foal is going to be the heir
Breeding
Breeding will be kept in the Breeding area only!
No breeding When graphic,place * in the name,that way people who don't want to read it will be forewarned.
The password to the joining board is "ourfreedom".
Fighting
No horse is perfect, you will get hurt.
You do not control the other horse. You aim attacks at them, it is up to them if you strike or not.
A total of five action posts per player in the whole fight. Posts in which you stop and toss insults around do not count toward this total, just your attack/defense posts.
Anything may be fought over.
Please post it in the designated area, making it clear who the challenge is for and over what.
Staff does the final judging. You will be judged on your post content and quality. Staff decides the winner and the aftermath.
Both players must agree before a death occurs.
After 1 real week if the other player does not reply you win by default (as long as the player has not posted away).
Whoever is involved in a fight cannot be challenged for one month (real time)
If you do not wish to fight then you forfeit, you cannot just refuse to fight, for any reason.
Darks and lights may fight for mares, but not land
Stealing
Put it in a guessable riddle. Make it possible to understand who you're going for.
Stallions may steal mares (mares with foals decide whether to bring the foal).
Mares may steal foals that are older then 6 months
If who you are stealing from does not figure it out within three days, than the thief gets what they want to steal.
After an equine has been successfully stolen they cannot be stolen for 1 season (this prevents the loser of the steal from immediately re-stealing the mare or foal).
